Very nice work mate !
I like the composition of the second one and the idea of the first one.
One suggestion about the first image. IMHO I think that you should do a more soft transition between the FG and the BG, I can see to "diferent" images, the "street" and the big city.
Try to connect the FG with the BG with somethink like a walkpath or something like this.
I did this overpaint. I hope you don't mind :)
Keep it up man !! :D

These are both nice.
I'd have one other comment regarding atmospheric perspective.
Too many times I see people indicating distance by spraying layers
of mist. One rule I have about "mist" is less is more.
In reality, distance is most often indicated by changes in value
and color, and by level of detail.
In your pieces here (especially the first one with the huge structure
in the distance), I would reference mountain photography to study
how something that big reads as being far away. I only spray in
airbrushed haze to indicate actual fog in the air, and only sparingly
at that.
Just my $0.02. Nice work!

thank you guys for your comments.
i see what you mean Rrische about the abuse of "spraying layer". I will try to rework the mist effect by color correcting the actual pyramid and having low constrast in the distance. I have already done that, but i guess is it not enough compared to the "mist" layer
Pere, i love your idea and it would be fine for this painting, but it does not fit the general director's idea that there is no real path outside this city( despite the huge broken highway on the right, i know i know), and the character's trip in the outside world should appear very hazardous.
There will also be some camera movement in the shot and real footage composited in it. Hope i can post the final composited frame soon.
cheers
